informed me on the flag of SNSD, correcting the info that is based
on report by Adi Mirijevic from Sarajevo (also see his article:
Adi Mirojevic: "Zastave politickih stranaka Bosne i
Hercegovine|Flags of Political Parties of Bosnia and
Herzegovina", Grb i zastava, HGZD, nr. 1/2007).
Bojan quoted the paragraph from the party statutes: "Zastava
SNSD je crvene boje, pravougaonog oblika, u cijem centru se
nalazi simbol, a donjem dijelu je ispisan skraceni naziv –
SNSD i puni naziv – Savez nezavisnih socijaldemokrata."
["The flag of SNSD is red, rectangular in shape, with the
[party] symbol in its centre, and below it the abbreviations SNSD
and the full name - Savez nezavisnih scoijaldemokrata.",
ZH].
According to Adi, the flags are prescribed and used in two
versions, with the inscription in Cyrillic and in Latin script. A
photo to which Bojan pointed me out showes only the Cyrillic
version at <s65.photobucket.com>.
I suppose that the flags without the full name were occasionally
used, and Adi had chance to see those only.
Also, Adi tells us in the abovementioned article that such flag
was adopted with the party Statutes of 28 July 2003, while prior
to that an identical flag with blue backgound instead of red was
in use.
